"Octopus Lady & Crow" this is Roger Fernandes' interpretation of a popular Pacific Northwest Indian story.
"St. Francis of Assisi's Crow" is based on a couple of paragraphs that appear in "Francis of Assisi's Canticle of the Creatures," by Paul M. Allen and Joan deRis Allen, Continuum, 1996. The story is adapted by Patty-Lynne Herlevi for only for "Crow Tales."
"Crane and Crow" is a traditional story from Australia, found in Jan Thornhill's "Crow & Fox and Other Animal Legends," Simon & Schuster, 1993.
